Happy New Years everyone. Unfortunately I will be evicted from my home with my daughter soon. I had no luck getting help and now I can't pay this months rent or any bills. I have no idea what I am going to tell my daughter. This is her last year in her school. How can I tell her we have to move and I don't know where we are going. I guess there is no such thing as guardian angels or anyone that will help us. I feel so bad right now.

Thank everyone for all the words of encouragement. Pray for me and my daughter. I don't know when I will be able to write anymore. Good luck to everyone is is suffering out there.

If there is anyone out there who would like to help in anyway please send any donation to support@positivepips.com (paypal)

      Thanks and God bless

Hello and I hope you find something. I ran across a few people who stayed at Salvation Army shelters and it was okay. But I know many of the shelters are not good for everyone. Try looking at craigslist.org and that nationalsharedhousing link I gave you. People are sharing spaces until people get on their feet and their as Dawn here pointed out craigslist.org has barter services for a place to live just have someone go with you when you check out any places to be on the safe side.

in response to Starshine...   I lived in a shelter before, that is not an option for me as it was a very traumatic experience.

Thanks so much for the link for modestneeds.org. Great site. I didn't qualify for help with rent, but they are a great site to go to.

It's good to know there are good people in the world. Hopefully something will happen positive before I get put out.

        Thanks again

For a growing number of persons faced with losing their independence and struggling to keep housing costs within their budget, shared housing is an affordable and viable alternative.

A home sharer might be a senior citizen, a person with disabilities, a working professional, someone at-risk of homelessness, a single parent, an AIDS patient, or simply a person wishing to share his or her life and home with others. For these people, shared housing offers companionship, affordable housing, security, mutual support and much more.

Shared living has been known to enhance the health and well-being of all people and allows people to remain independent in their home. Home Sharing also preserves neighborhoods, creates an affordable housing and saves housing and healthcare dollars.

Here is new information and best to you.
